Someday, I’m going to try to illustrate like this. And for those of you who don’t know, “CCCP” is Russian for “USSR”.

I'm full.
Look at my new aviation headset I got off eBay! Just like the ones NASA’s mission control used during the Apollo missions (sweet!). It matches my glasses too. I wanted one of these to use as my headset for my phone (because I’m a geek), but what I found was that aircraft electronics are different than my phones electronics… imagine that. So I set off to RadioShack. I built a little amplifier to...

So its been a while since I’ve updated (or contacted my friends). The reason is that I’ve been spending day and night resarching and designing (a bit obsessively) a “High Altitude Balloon”. The idea is that you build and program a fully funcional data retrieving/picture taking robot, strap it to a giant weather balloon, and let it go…. and yes, this is perfectly legal...

It's Done!
Okay, I’m finally done working on my bike! I converted it to a fixed gear, which makes it a blast to ride (just Google “fixie” for more on that). It’s basically been rebuilt completely… new wheels, tires, brake lever, stem, grip tape, pedals, chainring, cog and chain. You can see more photos here.

I replaced the stem, attached a smaller front brake lever, and re-gripped the bars. It’s looking pretty good… almost ready to become a fixie…
Check out my very first painting! It was done with acrylics, and took a little over an hour. I decided to try painting this summer, so I did… I’m pretty happy with it considering I’ve never even touched a paintbrush before this.

I made myself this sweet nightstand today. The bottom is an old milk crate, and the top is a piece of plywood that I beat the hell out of (for a ‘beat to hell’ look). I applied polyurethane sealer to the top to make it shiny. I think it turned out pretty good… it could maybe use a shelf though…

I found my old Polaroid camera… it still has film in it. I realized they no longer make instant film, so this is one of my 4 remaining shots.
Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun.
Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-two million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea.
This planet has -or...
